2022 Tech Trends Highlight: MFA

November 2022

“Since 2018 I have been recommending that our clients implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to secure their login credentials.  At that time, many applications like banking and online shopping sites, started offering MFA as an optional login security feature.  We researched the emerging MFA services that year and decided to partner with DUO MFA so that we could offer our clients a quality MFA service with a user-friendly interface, that gave them an extra layer of security for their logins.”

Dan Taplitz, Owner of Right Click Solutions

Who? Anyone who logs into an application, online or local, and everyone who is remotely logging into their office.

What? MFA protects against phishing, social engineering, and password brute-force attacks and secures your logins from attackers exploiting weak or stolen credentials. This added layer of security is especially important now due to the movement of business operations online and in remote workspaces.

When? Any time you are creating an application or online account, whether that be for business or personal purposes.

Where? An alert in the form of a “push” notification, email or phone call can be sent to any device that has access to the internet (mobile, desktop, etc.) so that you can confirm access to an account.

Why? Ensures that only authorized individuals are accessing your organization’s systems or your personal accounts. When somebody attempts to log in to your accounts, you will be notified immediately to approve or deny entry into the account.

How? Give us a call and we can discuss the Multifactor Authentication options best suited for your organization!
