Right Click Solutions Cares
November 18, 2020
At Right Click Solutions, we have always fostered a culture of giving back to the community and those less fortunate. In support and recognition of Giving Tuesday on December 1, 2020, we are championing non-profit organizations in our community. Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. Please consider supporting one of the amazing organizations in the link below. They are doing great things for our community and beyond!
Support a local non-profit charity!
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Right Click Solutions has been unable to partake in some of the traditional charitable events we have done in the past. Here are some of the ways we were able to adjust and find other avenues to give back in this most unusual year!
In March our world instantly went virtual and many experienced challenges using remote software. Right Click Solutions acted swiftly by offering complimentary instruction to the senior population of our religious organizations who needed assistance using virtual technology. We tutored several people and provided custom instructional documentation that could be shared and referenced in the future.
This spring and summer, Right Click Solutions was proud to once again host an ASPIRE intern from Fox Lane High School as well as an intern from New Rochelle High School. We ensured our college-bound interns were benefitting from their time with us while still being safe by creating a remote workspace for them and assigning tasks that will be educating as well as challenging.
Just in time for the 4th of July holiday, the Right Click Solutions team created dozens of cards for our local veterans to thank them for their service. We asked all of our staff and their families to partake in the effort to make sure our veterans know how much they are appreciated!
Due to the pandemic, the need for technology allowing students to connect to online classes increased exponentially. RCS responded by working closely with a local tutoring organization in the Yonkers school district with a tech drive to collect gently used laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
In addition to supporting many local non-profits in their virtual benefits and fundraisers this year, we also encouraged our business community to adopt a cause. If your organization is looking for a good cause to support, there are plenty of local non-profits and charities that could use help during this challenging time. From religious organizations to schools to social action groups, they are making our community better by celebrating good, connecting and inspiring our youth and restoring our hope.
